January Newsletter
Well where has all of the time gone? We hope that everyone has had a good holiday season. We want to thank all of the people that helped out with the children’s party and with the adult holiday dinner. We want to thank all of those people that bought presents for the kids and turkeys for their families. We want to thank Joe Streiff’s sister Susan Barel for her donation and Joe for his to get a boom box and cd’s for the children’s party and turkey’s. We thank Jesse Colunga for the candy canes, table cloths and all of the errands he ran to help our parties be a success. We also thank Rachel for the hot dog buns, sodas and her help with the kids at the party. We can’t forget Linda Terry for her cakes and Annie Lewis for her items for the cake walk that Linda Terry brought since she is out of town. And last but not least a woman that is at every function and always willing to help we thank Patsy Botello.

Another year has come and gone and we still have much to do. Our first meeting in January will be held on January 9th . Our second meeting of the month will be held on January 23rd. We will announce the nominating committee members at the first meeting of the month. We will then hold nominating committee meetings before the next 3 meetings so you can submit name for the offices of Senior Regent, Junior Regent, Chaplain, Secretary Treasurer and Recorder. We have to do this so we can have our new board ready to install in April and ready to go in May. We ask that you think about holding an office or a chairmanship next year. You can help us to grow and become the top chapter in Texas. Your commitment can make a difference. Do you want to help make a difference it can be done with about a few hours a month? I want to take the time to thank my recorder for all that she does for our chapter.
